Figma Node Brings Frames Into Weave
The new node makes a Figma frame part of a Weave workflow. That gives the workflow access to an existing design rather than limiting the frame to the Figma canvas.
Figma lists four uses for the connection:

It also follows the launch of shareable AI workflows through Figma Skills. Together, the releases add more ways to connect designs with repeatable content workflows.
The update is aimed at workflows where one design feeds several outputs. A frame can act as the connected design for brand content, revised versions, translations and video, while edits keep those outputs aligned with the source.
