On Your Radar

Buildprint brings proper agentic engineering to Bubble

Buildprint, a tool that brings AI agent features to no-code powerhouse Bubble, has just launched to the public after a lengthy private beta period during which it was put through its paces by some of the best Bubble devs out there. Its creator George Collier is going to be speaking at Create With 2026! Here's a video announcement hosted by Bubble.

Lovable had a security hiccup

One of the most popular vibe coding tools out there, Lovable, just had a security hole discovered which meant all chat conversations from "public" projects were publicly accessible. They said it was intentional, but have fixed it anyway after the inevitable backlash.

Claude Design Launches with AI-Powered Visual Creation

Anthropic has launched Claude Design, a new visual creation tool that lets you build presentations, websites, wireframes, and even 3D graphics through conversational prompts. The tool offers both high-fidelity and wireframing modes, integrates with Canva and PowerPoint for exports, and can hand off website designs directly to Claude Code for deployment.

Deep Dive: Claude Design

Anthropic just dropped Claude Design, and it's the first serious threat to Figma's design monopoly since Google launched Stitch last May. Built as an AI-native tool, it's not just another template generator with chatbot features slapped on.

The AI-First Approach

Claude Design generates actual design artifacts from scratch, powered by Anthropic's token-heavy Opus 4.7 model. You feed it text prompts, brand assets, or existing websites, and it creates production-ready mockups in minutes.

The key difference is it thinks in design systems, not templates. Upload your logos, fonts, or GitHub repositories, and Claude maintains consistent styling across everything it creates. The "anti-slop mode" prevents those generic AI aesthetics that scream "made by a bot."

What It Actually Does Well

The real use cases are already proving impressive:

• Landing pages: High-converting layouts with proper copy hierarchy and CTAs

• App prototypes: Interactive iOS mockups with clickable navigation flows

• Slide decks: Upload an outline, get animated presentations matching brand guidelines

• Motion graphics: Complex HTML/CSS/JS animations and 3D data visualisations

JJ Englert, Create With speaker and early adopter, shared some advanced techniques that show Claude Design's hidden potential. The "video to slides" hack creates animated videos first, then converts them to interactive presentations. Screenshot structures from Dribbble, feed them to Claude with your branding, and get custom designs in that style.

The 90/10 Rule in Action

Outputs aren't yet perfect. Claude handles the heavy lifting — layout, typography, colour schemes, basic interactions. You still need to handle the final 10% of tweaks and refinements.

The edit tools feel familiar if you've used Figma. Click any element to leave comments for revisions. Draw directly on the screen to indicate changes. Use sliders to adjust padding, colours, and motion intensity without touching code.

Multiple concurrent chats let you parallelise design work across different projects or variations. Share links with view/comment/edit permissions for team collaboration.

The Reality Check

Usage limits are brutal. Opus 4.7 is so token-hungry that Pro users hit weekly caps within hours of heavy use. This isn't a tool you can run continuously yet.

The research preview shows. Overlapping text, hallucinated SVG icons, and vanishing files are common. No native video export means those sleek animations require screen recording to become actual MP4s.

Enterprise teams need admin approval — it's disabled by default and costs around £20 per user in initial credits. For now, it's web app-only with no API access.

Getting Your Hands On It

Access requires Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plans at claude.ai/design. The setup process is straightforward:

• Upload brand assets in the Design Systems tab

• Choose your format (prototype, slides, or motion graphics)

• Prompt and refine as Claude asks clarifying questions

• Export to PDF, PowerPoint, HTML, Canva, or hand off directly to Claude Code

Our view
James has been testing out Claude Design. He uploaded Create With's branding and got it to make a design system, and then had it output some assets. He said:

It's a decent start but it's not ready for production use yet. It's lacking a lot of features and the designs aren't quite there. - James

I did some experimenting, comparing it with the other tools out there.

I gave the same landing page prompt to Claude Design, Claude Code, Figma Make and Google Stitch.

I was actually shocked by the results, not because Claude Design was amazing (although it was pretty good) but more because Google Stitch and Figma Make were so bad!

Claude Design
Claude Design gave a really professional non-AI-slop result
Claude Code design
Claude Code's design was nice but a bit less interesting
Figma
Figma Make's output was quite basic
Stitch
Google Stitch produced the worst output by far

It was interesting to compare Claude Design vs Claude Code as they both use Opus 4.7 underneath. Clearly the Claude Design has some solid system prompts and processes under the hood. It was the only tool that asked me questions before starting work.

Google Stitch's output looks like a free Wordpress template from 2012!

It feels like Anthropic have realised their models are good at design and quickly thrown together a Claude Code wrapper aimed at designers, in the same way Cowork is a wrapper aimed at non-technical professionals. But we've seen how useful Cowork has become in the short time since it's launched, so I expect Design will quickly improve. - Kieran
