Supabase Adds Prebuilt Gemini Enterprise Connector

Supabase is now available as a prebuilt connector in Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise. Teams can connect a Supabase organisation, ask questions about its projects in natural language and take actions without leaving Gemini Enterprise.

According to the Supabase blog post, the connector fetches data from the connected organisation in real time. Gemini Enterprise does not store or index that Supabase data, so each response reflects the current state of the projects.

Query Supabase Projects With Natural Language

A user can ask Gemini Enterprise to list the tables for a specific Supabase project. Gemini Enterprise calls the connector and returns the live result.

Prompts can also span several connected services. A question about a feature could return its related Supabase tables alongside the Jira tickets tracking the work. Gemini Enterprise combines those results into one answer.

Supabase joins connectors for services including GitHub, Linear, Notion, Slack and Salesforce. This lets a team ask one question across its database and work tools rather than opening each service separately.

The natural-language interface also gives IT and operations teams a way to check database metrics or inspect table structures without working inside the Supabase Dashboard. Developers can retrieve backend information from the same place where they are already working.

Connecting Supabase to Gemini Enterprise

The connector is available across all four Gemini Enterprise editions, but the setup differs by edition.

Gemini Enterprise editionConnection method
BusinessSelect Supabase from the connector menu and sign in to the Supabase organisation
StandardAn admin connects it in the admin console using a client ID and secret
PlusAn admin connects it in the admin console using a client ID and secret
FrontlineAn admin connects it in the admin console using a client ID and secret

Connections operate at the Supabase organisation level. Every tool exposed through the connector is marked as either read-only or destructive, making the type of operation visible before it is used.

The integration uses Supabase’s MCP Server. It follows the release of enterprise-managed authentication for the Supabase MCP server, which gives organisations central control over MCP access.
