Gemini Omni Joins Omma's Model Lineup
Spline announced on LinkedIn that its Omma AI Studio now supports Google's Gemini Omni model. The integration gives users another large language model option for generating 3D scenes, web apps, and interactive experiences through natural language prompts.
Omma AI Studio, which Spline launched earlier this year as a suite of AI tools for 3D, video, and audio generation, already offered multiple AI models for different use cases. Adding Gemini Omni expands the platform's capabilities, particularly for users who prefer Google's approach to multimodal AI or need specific features that Gemini handles differently than competing models.
The timing aligns with broader industry momentum around offering users model choice rather than locking them into a single AI provider. Platforms from Cursor to Replit have moved toward multi-model support, letting developers pick tools that match their workflow and budget.
What This Means for Omma Users
Omma operates as a multi-agent system that orchestrates code generation, 3D mesh creation, and asset compilation in parallel. Users describe what they want to build, and the platform deploys specialized agents to handle different aspects of the project simultaneously. With Gemini Omni now available, users can route prompts through Google's model when generating frontend layouts, refining interactive elements, or iterating on design variations.

The platform supports real-world data integration through CSV, JSON, and DOC files, plus GLB and GLTF 3D models. Projects built in Omma deploy to production URLs with custom domain support, using web standards like Three.js, Tailwind CSS, and React Three Fiber under the hood.
Spline has been actively expanding Omma's model options. The platform recently added support for GLM 5.2 for frontend generation and connected Studio assets to Canvas for tighter integration between 3D design and web deployment workflows.
Model Flexibility in AI Design Tools
The move reflects a practical reality: no single AI model excels at every task. Developers building with tools like Bolt or Lovable often switch between models depending on whether they need precise code generation, creative ideation, or cost efficiency at scale.
For Spline users working on client projects or internal tools, having Gemini Omni as an option means they can test outputs across models without leaving the platform. This matters especially for teams that have existing relationships with Google Cloud or prefer Gemini's handling of complex instructions and context windows.
The integration is live now. Users can access Gemini Omni through the model selector in Omma AI Studio at omma.build. Spline has not disclosed pricing specifics for different model tiers, though the platform continues to operate in beta with experimental features still being refined.
