Vercel shipped dashboard controls, faster builds, alert filtering and more ways to work with AI models and connected services. The updates cover feature flag sharing, project metrics, pnpm installs, Vercel Agent and the Connect CLI.

Redesigned Flags Explorer

The redesigned Flags Explorer brings overrides, branch recommendations and related actions into one surface in the Vercel Toolbar. When a branch has overrides, anyone visiting that deployment now sees a dialog recommending them. It is available on all plans.

Customisable Widgets for Project Cards

The dashboard Overview tab now supports customisable project card widgets. You can replace the Real Experience Score with firewall requests, observability alerts, Speed Insights scores or Web Analytics data, then enable supported services from the card menu. Choices are saved per project and persist across sessions.

GPT-6.1 Terra on AI Gateway

GPT-6.1 Terra is now available through AI Gateway, including a fast mode variant. The model accepts text and images, has a context window of more than 1M tokens, and supports visual reasoning, computer use, structured outputs, tool calling and prompt caching. It works with the AI SDK, OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API, Responses API and coding agents connected to AI Gateway.

Faster pnpm Installs

Vercel has reduced pnpm install times by reusing dependency verification between deployments. Pro projects with restored build cache saw average install times fall by 14%; when dependencies were unchanged, one example dropped from 2.8 seconds to 135 milliseconds. The change applies automatically on all plans with no configuration required.

Vercel Agent Validates Alerts Before Paging

Vercel Agent can now validate monitor alerts before sending them to a webhook destination such as incident.io. Selecting Critical Only in a monitor’s notification settings filters out alerts not classified as Critical. The same option is available through vercel monitors notifications with the --critical-only flag.

Vercel Connect CLI Discovers Over 1,000 Services

The Vercel Connect CLI can now search more than 1,000 services by name, alias, keyword, category, connection method and trigger support. The vercel connect discover and vercel connect categories commands support JSON output, while discovered service names can be passed to vercel connect create. This follows other connector work including Vercel’s managed API key for Stripe connectors, and requires CLI version 64.1.0 or later.
