Make has partnered with STATION F, the world's largest startup campus, establishing a physical mentorship office inside the Paris facility. The move positions the automation platform alongside Apple, AWS, and Google as on-site partners supporting over 1,000 startups at any given time.
The partnership gives founders direct access to Make's team through one-on-one mentorship sessions, workshops, and workflow support. Since opening in 2017, STATION F has hosted more than 8,000 startups, with approximately 80% of current companies building AI-powered products.
Embedded Support for Resource-Constrained Teams
Unlike traditional vendor relationships, Make's presence at STATION F means its team works directly within the startup ecosystem. Founders can book sessions to build automations, troubleshoot workflows, or learn how to connect their growing stack of tools without writing code.
Make CEO Fabian Q. Veit framed the partnership as a response to Europe's maturing startup landscape. "Europe's startup ecosystem is producing world-class founders, and they deserve world-class tools," Veit said in the announcement. "By joining Station F, we're putting Make directly in the hands of the teams that need automation the most, ambitious teams doing big things with limited resources."
The timing aligns with Make's broader push into AI-driven automation. Following their launch of AI Agents with full transparency into decision-making, the company has focused on making complex automation accessible to non-technical teams.
Why Automation Matters for Early-Stage Startups
For startups operating lean, automation platforms like Make, Zapier, and n8n can eliminate hours of manual work across sales, marketing, and operations. Common use cases include syncing form responses from Typeform to Airtable, automating customer onboarding sequences through Intercom, or triggering Slack notifications when deals close in a CRM.
Make's visual builder lets users connect APIs and services through a drag-and-drop interface. The platform supports thousands of integrations and includes modules for conditional logic, data transformation, and error handling. Recent updates introduced Grid, a collaborative workspace where teams can visualize and manage automations together.
The STATION F office will likely focus on helping founders identify automation opportunities early, before manual processes become bottlenecks. For AI-focused startups especially, integrating automation into product workflows can mean the difference between scaling smoothly and hiring prematurely.
Make's partnership follows a pattern of infrastructure providers embedding themselves in startup hubs. AWS, Google Cloud, and other platform partners offer credits, technical support, and office hours to founders building on their services. By offering hands-on automation mentorship, Make is betting that early adoption leads to long-term platform loyalty as startups grow.
