Framer Skills Reuses Your Design and Content Instructions.

Skills gives the Framer Agent reusable instructions for design systems, writing styles and CMS workflows. Instead of repeating the same direction in every prompt, builders can save it once and call it into later tasks.

Framer’s changelog explains that a skill can reference the pages, components and styles already inside a project. The agent uses that project context while leaving the resulting page editable on the canvas.

Skills can include references to @pages, @components and @styles. These connect written instructions to the actual material in a Framer project, rather than relying on a text description of the brand or layout.

Framer’s demo uses a /design-system skill to create a blog index page. The agent reuses the project’s typography, colours, spacing, layouts and components, then writes six posts and adds them to the CMS.

A skill can also be captured after a working session. Once a page or piece of copy has been refined, the agent can save the decisions that should carry into the next task.

Skills remain attached when somebody remixes a project. Template creators can therefore include instructions for adding pages and content while following the template’s existing design direction.

That extends the Agent beyond individual generation tasks such as Hero Variations. Skills store the project rules that can be reused across those tasks, including what the agent should check before it finishes.
