The refreshed Assets panel in Framer lets you organise Components, Colors, Text Styles, Code Overrides and Vectors together in folders. Assets no longer have to sit inside fixed sections based on their type.
According to Framer’s changelog, folders can mix different kinds of assets. A folder for a landing page, for example, can contain its components, colours, text styles and vectors rather than splitting them across separate sections.

How the Framer Assets panel has changed
The update replaces a structure defined by asset type with one organised by the user. Existing asset categories remain, but they can now live beside each other inside the same folder.

Framer Agents can now organise and manage assets inside the refreshed panel. The update extends their work beyond generating or editing site content by giving them access to project organisation as well.
This follows Framer MCP letting AI agents build and publish sites and Framer Skills reusing design and content instructions. Together, those updates connect agents to the canvas, project assets, CMS content, publishing and reusable team guidance.
The refreshed panel is aimed at the organisation of assets already used within a Framer project. It does not change the listed asset types, but changes how they can be grouped and who can manage them.
