Perplexity
Perplexity has announced that Comet is now available for iOS, with the app officially launched on the App Store. The update expands access to Comet on mobile, giving iPhone and iPad users a new way to use the product on the go.
Key details
- Launch date: March 18, 2026
- Platform: iOS
- Availability: Downloadable now from the App Store
- Source: Announcement shared via Perplexity’s LinkedIn account
This appears to be a platform availability update rather than a feature release, but it signals that Perplexity is continuing to expand Comet’s reach across devices.
For small business owners and builders, mobile availability can make a tool easier to use in day-to-day workflows, especially for teams working remotely or managing tasks away from a desktop. For AI and no-code users, broader device support also makes it simpler to test and adopt tools in real operating environments.
