Lovable Launches Connectors for Perplexity, ElevenLabs, Firecrawl, and Miro

Lovable has launched Connectors, a feature that lets users integrate third-party tools directly into apps built through its chat-based development platform. The announcement on LinkedIn highlights four initial integrations: Perplexity, ElevenLabs, Firecrawl, and Miro.

Research and Voice Capabilities

The Perplexity connector allows apps built in Lovable to perform AI-powered research, returning answers with citations. Example use cases include a plant care app that diagnoses problems based on user queries or a sales tool that briefs teams before client calls.

With ElevenLabs integration, apps can generate spoken output and soundtracks. The announcement suggests applications like a children's app that reads stories in character voices or a meditation app that combines calming voice narration with generated music. New ElevenLabs users receive their first month free through December 22, according to the post.

Web Scraping and Visual Workflows

The Firecrawl connector enables webpage scraping and structured data extraction. Lovable users can pull data from multiple sources to build tools like job boards that aggregate listings or price trackers that monitor competitor sites. Firecrawl access is free for Lovable users through January 2026.

The Miro integration converts visual diagrams and workflows into working prototypes. Users can sketch ideas in Miro using flows, clusters, and sticky notes, then have Lovable interpret the design and build a functional app. The company positions this as a morning-to-afternoon workflow: sketch in the morning, deploy a prototype by afternoon.

Platform Context

Lovable's core product allows users to build web applications through natural language conversation, a category sometimes called vibe coding. The platform generates full-stack apps using React, TypeScript, and Supabase, as previously covered in the context of its enterprise offerings.

Connectors expand what these apps can do beyond standard CRUD operations and UI generation. By integrating external APIs directly through the chat interface, users avoid manual API configuration and authentication setup.

The announcement does not specify whether Connectors are available across all pricing tiers or if additional integrations are planned. No technical documentation or API reference was provided in the initial post.

AI Lets You Build Everything—Here’s Why You Still Never Launch

Tom Wesolowski, owner of NoCodeRefactoring.com, delivers a conference talk exposing how AI's ability to build anything has created a new problem: chronic overbuilding that prevents launches. Using a real marketplace project as a case study, he demonstrates how an 80% scope reduction transformed a stalled four-month development into a revenue-generating product launched in two weeks. The talk provides a practical framework for identifying the minimal viable customer loop and postponing everything else until real user demand validates the need.
