Lovable Opens Deploy on Microsoft Azure Private Preview

Deploy on Microsoft Azure lets select Lovable enterprise customers run their apps and data inside their own Azure subscription. The feature is now in private preview.

Teams continue building through Lovable’s chat interface. Deployment moves into the customer’s Azure environment, where the app sits under the security controls the organisation already uses.

The LinkedIn announcement positions this as an option for teams whose security rules require apps and their data to remain inside the company’s own Azure subscription.

Where Deploy on Microsoft Azure Fits

Lovable now has three routes for teams working in the Microsoft ecosystem. They differ mainly in who hosts the app and where its data runs.

Deployment optionWhere the app runsMicrosoft connection
Deploy on Microsoft AzureThe customer’s Azure subscriptionApps and data stay under the customer’s existing controls
Microsoft Copilot Managed RuntimeMicrosoft hosts the app inside the customer’s tenantAccess sits behind Microsoft Entra ID sign-in
Host on LovableLovable hosts the appConnects with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Fabric data

Deploy on Microsoft Azure keeps both the app and its data within the customer’s subscription. Microsoft Copilot Managed Runtime, which is already in public preview, keeps hosting with Microsoft inside the tenant. We covered that route in Lovable Launches Copilot Managed Runtime Integration in Public Preview.

The third option leaves hosting with Lovable while connecting the app to Microsoft services and organisational data. Teams can therefore choose between customer-controlled Azure hosting, Microsoft-managed hosting or Lovable-managed hosting.

The Azure preview also extends Lovable’s enterprise deployment choices beyond Microsoft’s managed runtime. It follows Lovable’s Deploy on AWS launch, which places apps inside a customer’s own AWS account.

For Microsoft-based teams, the build process remains in Lovable. The change is where the finished application and its data run, and which organisation controls that environment.

AI Lets You Build Everything—Here’s Why You Still Never Launch

Tom Wesolowski, owner of NoCodeRefactoring.com, delivers a conference talk exposing how AI's ability to build anything has created a new problem: chronic overbuilding that prevents launches. Using a real marketplace project as a case study, he demonstrates how an 80% scope reduction transformed a stalled four-month development into a revenue-generating product launched in two weeks. The talk provides a practical framework for identifying the minimal viable customer loop and postponing everything else until real user demand validates the need.
