Lovable Launches Copilot Managed Runtime Integration in Public Preview

Lovable’s Copilot Managed Runtime integration lets teams publish apps built in Lovable into their company’s Microsoft tenant. It is rolling out in public preview.

Once published, colleagues can open the app with their existing work login. IT teams can manage it alongside other company apps using the controls they already have in place.

The LinkedIn post describes a path from building an internal tool in Lovable to distributing it through an organisation’s Microsoft environment.

How the Copilot Managed Runtime integration works

The publishing flow has three parts. A builder creates the app in Lovable, publishes it into the company’s Microsoft tenant, and gives colleagues access through their work accounts. IT retains management through its existing controls.

  1. 1

    Build the app

create the internal tool through Lovable’s chat interface

  2. 2

    Publish to Microsoft

place the finished app inside the company’s Microsoft tenant

  3. 3

    Open with work login

colleagues access the app through their existing account

  4. 4

    Manage through IT

administrators apply the controls already used for company apps

This adds a managed route for putting Lovable apps in front of employees. It covers both access and administration, rather than requiring the builder to distribute the app separately from the organisation’s existing Microsoft setup.

Build apps around Microsoft data

Lovable also supports Microsoft 365 connectors, Fabric and Microsoft sign-in. Those features are available on every Lovable plan today.

The examples include turning an Excel sheet into an operations tool and building reports on live Fabric data. A finance app could also read supplier statements from Outlook and flag unpaid invoices.

These are separate parts of the setup. The connectors give a Lovable app access to Microsoft services and data. Microsoft sign-in handles app access. The Copilot Managed Runtime integration provides the route for publishing that app into the company tenant, where IT can manage it with existing controls.

The update follows Lovable’s wider push to place app building inside the tools organisations already use, including its Salesforce and Slack partnership.

AI Lets You Build Everything—Here’s Why You Still Never Launch

Tom Wesolowski, owner of NoCodeRefactoring.com, delivers a conference talk exposing how AI's ability to build anything has created a new problem: chronic overbuilding that prevents launches. Using a real marketplace project as a case study, he demonstrates how an 80% scope reduction transformed a stalled four-month development into a revenue-generating product launched in two weeks. The talk provides a practical framework for identifying the minimal viable customer loop and postponing everything else until real user demand validates the need.
