Notion Centralizes Mail and Calendar Connections in Single Settings Tab

Notion has consolidated its mail and calendar connection settings into a unified tab, making it easier for users to manage multiple accounts from a single location.

The update moves previously scattered connection points into Settings → Mail & Calendar, where users can now link multiple email and calendar services in one place. Once connected, Notion's AI can perform cross-app tasks such as scheduling meetings and drafting emails without switching between interfaces.

The change addresses a common friction point for teams juggling work and personal accounts. Previously, connections lived in separate areas of Notion's settings, requiring users to navigate multiple menus to add or modify integrations. The single-tab approach consolidates this workflow, particularly for users managing Gmail, Outlook, or other calendar services alongside Notion's workspace.

AI Workflow Integration

The centralized settings work alongside Notion's existing AI capabilities. After linking accounts, Notion Agent can access calendar availability and email context to handle scheduling requests or draft replies based on workspace information. This builds on the company's broader push into autonomous AI workflows, following recent updates to agent controls and analytics.

The update does not change how Notion Calendar or Notion Mail function once connected. Users still access their synchronized calendars and email through the same interfaces. The settings tab simply centralizes where these connections are established and managed.

For teams already using Notion's AI features, the streamlined settings reduce setup time when onboarding new members or adding accounts. Admin users can verify which mail and calendar services are connected across their workspace without searching through disparate settings pages.

The feature is available now in Notion's settings menu. Users with existing mail or calendar connections do not need to reconfigure them; the update relocates management controls rather than requiring reconnection. Teams evaluating Notion's AI capabilities can find the new tab under account settings after signing in.
