What to expect

Explore practical and research-led applications of AI in healthcare and industry on 19–20 August 2026 at Four Points by Sheraton Toronto Mississauga.

The 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare and Industry (ICAIHI 2026) brings academics, healthcare and AI experts, industry representatives, business delegates and students together near Toronto. Across two days, participants will examine how artificial intelligence can improve the experiences of healthcare professionals and patients while supporting smarter, more proactive approaches to care.

Built around the theme “The Power of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare,” this CPD-accredited conference focuses on the data-processing and predictive capabilities shaping modern healthcare. The programme is expected to explore technologies including machine learning, natural language processing and deep learning, alongside their potential to help health professionals manage resources and respond to healthcare needs more effectively.

Conference format

ICAIHI 2026 combines academic and industrial perspectives through several presentation formats:

  • Keynote sessions addressing significant developments in AI and healthcare
  • Plenary talks designed to share research, perspectives and new ideas
  • Academic and industrial speaker sessions connecting theory with sector experience
  • Poster presentations showcasing current work and emerging findings
  • Online presentations and e-Posters for contributors unable to attend in person

The conference is designed as an international platform for interaction between AI and healthcare experts. It will be particularly relevant to researchers, academicians, clinicians and healthcare professionals interested in AI, industry delegates evaluating its applications, and AI students seeking exposure to current research and professional perspectives. Rather than targeting a single experience level, the programme brings together established speakers and specialists with students and delegates from across the academic and commercial communities.
