Bangkok · Treehouse Cafe & Bar

Hosted by Jaume R.

Build AI products people will pay for at this informal builders meetup in Bangkok, taking place on 25 October 2026 at Treehouse Cafe & Bar. From AI idea to paying customer Vibe Coding Products in Bangkok brings together people who are using AI to turn early ideas into useful, launchable products. Hosted by Jaume R., this first edition creates a relaxed setting where builders can show their work, compare approaches and help one another make progress. The meetup runs from 5:00pm to 7:00pm ICT on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at Treehouse Cafe & Bar, 20 Sukhumvit 31 in Watthana. Rather than focusing only on code, the conversation will cover the full journey from deciding what to build to finding the first paying customer. Topics and questions may include: - Choosing an AI product idea worth pursuing - Turning a rough concept into a working prototype - Deciding how and when to launch - Working out what to charge - Finding early users and first customers - Getting feedback on a demo or half-built product - Moving an existing product beyond its current stage Attendees may be building with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another AI development tool. The emphasis is on sharing practical experiences rather than prescribing one particular stack. Who should attend? All stages are welcome. You might arrive with nothing more than an idea, a prototype that only partly works, or a product already earning revenue. You do not need a technical background, and you do not need to have made money from your project. Curiosity, a desire to build something useful and the motivation to keep moving are enough. Bring a demo if you have one, a question you want to explore, or a specific problem that has slowed you down. You can also come simply to meet other locally based AI builders and learn what they are creating. A conversational builders meetup Expect informal, peer-led conversations rather than a formal lecture or highly structured workshop. The format is designed for swapping ideas, receiving direct feedback and discussing both product development and commercial decisions with people who also want to ship. Attendees can additionally use Meetup’s event chat to connect before the session begins. View the event and registration details

Nottingham · Fothergill House

Hosted by DevOps Notts

Explore architecture governance for AI coding agents at Fothergill House in Nottingham on 27 October 2026, from 6–8pm GMT. This DevOps Notts talk presents a financial-services approach to moving governance earlier in the software development process. Rather than relying solely on architecture review boards, deployment failures and late-stage guardrails, the session will show how governance can become part of an AI agent’s reasoning. You’ll learn how an agent can read real policy documents, explain applicable requirements in plain English while a developer is still describing a system, and identify constraints before any Terraform is created. The talk also covers mirroring those policies in OPA/Rego rules, allowing the agent to check its own proposed design before presenting it and enabling CI to verify changes made by hand. The event is particularly relevant to DevOps practitioners, software engineers, architects and teams working with AI-assisted development in regulated environments. No speaker biography or experience-level requirement has been published. Agenda - 18:00: Doors open - 18:30: Talk begins - 19:15: Pizza and catch-up - 20:00: Doors close Hosted by Mica B. for DevOps Notts at CGI Fothergill House, 16 King Street, Nottingham NG1 2AS. AI Innovation Asia

Singapore · Grand Hyatt Singapore

Hosted by Economist Enterprise

AI Innovation Asia brings senior business and government leaders to Singapore on 26 November 2026 to turn AI investment into measurable business value. Closing the AI value gap Held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, this third annual conference from Economist Enterprise focuses on one of the most urgent questions facing organisations: why do some companies generate tangible returns from AI while others spend millions without moving beyond experimentation? The programme moves past hype to examine how leading organisations are implementing AI in practice. Through independent, editorial-led discussions, executive panels and real-world case studies, attendees will explore what it takes to convert investment into operational improvements, growth and durable competitive advantage. Key themes include: - Moving successful AI pilots into organisation-wide deployment - Measuring business value and tangible return on investment - Redesigning organisations, workflows and decision-making for AI - Avoiding costly implementation failures - Identifying where chief executives are directing their AI budgets for 2027 - Learning from organisations already putting AI to work across Asian markets Hear from leaders making AI pay The announced line-up combines editorial perspective with senior operational and technology experience. Tom Standage, deputy editor of The Economist and editor of The World Ahead, brings a long-standing focus on technology’s business, cultural and historical significance. He is joined by Binu Jacob, chairman and chief executive of Nestlé Vietnam, whose career spans almost three decades of FMCG leadership across Asia, Europe and the US. Other featured leaders include Rahil Ansari, chairman and chief executive of Volkswagen Group Taiwan, drawing on more than two decades in the automotive industry, and Simon See, chief solution architect and global head of the NVIDIA AI Technology Centre and AI Nation at NVIDIA. Oxford · Oxford University Department for Continuing Education

Hosted by University of Oxford Department for Continuing Education

The Oxford AI Summit 2026 explores how to design and prototype applications with AI assistance, and how individuals and organisations can build the skills to do it. Taking place from 9:00am on 14 September 2026 at the Oxford University Department for Continuing Education in Oxford, this third-year summit connects the practical work of AI-assisted development with the wider challenge of skills and reskilling. What to expect The summit focuses on using AI as an active part of the application-development process. Rather than treating artificial intelligence only as a subject for discussion, the event is designed to help participants understand how AI assistance can support the creation and prototyping of applications. Its core themes include: - AI-assisted development and the changing process of building software - Designing and prototyping applications with help from AI - The skills people need to work effectively with AI-assisted workflows - Reskilling in response to new development methods and capabilities - Connecting practical application building with longer-term professional learning This combination gives the event a broader perspective than a narrowly technical development session. It brings together the immediate question of what people can build with AI and the strategic question of how existing skills, roles and learning pathways may need to evolve. Who should attend? The Oxford AI Summit is relevant to people who want to develop a practical understanding of AI-assisted application creation, as well as those responsible for helping others adapt to AI-enabled work. That may include developers, aspiring builders, technical professionals, educators, learning and development teams, organisational leaders, and professionals considering how to update their capabilities. It should be particularly useful for attendees interested in both sides of the transition: building with AI now and preparing people for the skills that AI-assisted development requires. The emphasis on teaching participants to design and prototype applications also makes the summit relevant to those seeking a more applied perspective on AI, not simply a high-level overview of the technology.… Register for this event

Build with AI, together

Leicester · Bru Coffee Shop

Hosted by Ashley

Build apps, websites, automations and prototypes with AI at a relaxed, beginner-friendly build morning in Leicester on 12 September 2026. Hosted by Ashley for Vibe Code Social, this monthly hands-on session gives local builders a friendly place to make progress, exchange ideas and get unstuck. It runs from 10:00am to 12:00pm BST on Saturday 12 September 2026, upstairs at Bru Coffee Shop on Granby Street in Leicester. What to expect This is an open, social build morning rather than a formal class. The session begins with a short welcome and quick introduction round, giving everyone an opportunity to share: - Who they are and what they are building - Which AI or vibe-coding tools they use - The problem they are trying to solve - What they would like to get from the morning Afterwards, the room opens up for independent building, informal conversations and collaboration. You can pair with somebody working on a similar challenge, compare tools, ask for help with a blocker, join a small laptop show-and-tell or quietly focus on your own project. Expect people to share practical knowledge and make useful local connections without the pressure of presenting a polished result. Who it’s for The morning welcomes both technical and non-technical attendees. Some people may be shipping side projects, while others will be opening an AI builder for the first time. No technology background is required, and unfinished concepts, messy prototypes and “I don’t know where to start” ideas are all valid starting points. Projects could include apps, websites, automations, workflows, prototypes, side projects or ideas that are still taking shape. The common thread is curiosity and a willingness to experiment. What to bring… Register for this event
