Marketplace database browser Redis support lets Vercel users run Redis commands, browse keys and inspect stored values without leaving the dashboard. It works with both the Redis and Upstash for Redis integrations from Vercel Marketplace.

The change removes the need to open redis-cli or a separate database interface for common inspection and management tasks. According to the changelog, the database page now has dedicated CLI and Browser tabs.

Open a project, go to Infrastructure > Storage, then select a Redis database. The available tools are split by task:

Selecting a key in Browser opens its value and metadata. The details include the key’s type, time to live, encoding and size. Supported value types are string, JSON, hash, list, set and sorted set.

The CLI can run several commands in one request when they are separated by newlines or semicolons. It also supports Redis transactions using MULTI and EXEC, so a sequence of commands can be queued and executed together from the dashboard.

Both dashboard tabs sit alongside the project’s other storage controls. Users can move from a deployed application to its Redis database without configuring a local command-line connection or signing into another database interface.
