What Students Can Build With ElevenLabs for Students
The announcement points to two projects that move beyond basic voice generation.
A team at the University of Pennsylvania built a healthcare referrals switchboard. The agent routes callers to the right provider and books an appointment.
At a hackathon in Warsaw, students built an agent that analyses radio communications between pilots and between pilots and air traffic controllers in real time. It flags potentially dangerous signs that a crew might miss.
The plan also covers creative work through ElevenCreative and reading through ElevenReader Ultra. These sit alongside access to ElevenAgents and the ElevenAPI, giving students routes into both finished media and software projects.
ElevenLabs has already distributed access through its Impact Program x Professors initiative. More than 350 professors across nearly 50 countries have used that programme to extend free access to more than 1,500 students. Subjects have ranged from film production to constitutional law.
Who Can Get the Student Plan
Applicants must be university students aged 18 or over. At launch, the eligible regions are the US, Canada, the 27 European Union member states, the UK and Australia.
The offer combines two access periods. ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents and the ElevenAPI are free for three months. ElevenReader Ultra is free for one year.
