Buildship Launches AI Agents Platform With Multi-Agent Orchestration
Buildship has released AI Agents Wave 1, a new platform designed to automate business workflows through composable AI agents that can delegate tasks to each other and integrate with any existing tool or API. The launch follows a six-month development period during which the company suspended public updates to focus on building production-ready capabilities.
The platform addresses a core challenge in enterprise AI automation: moving beyond single-purpose chatbots to systems that can handle complex, multi-step workflows. Unlike traditional bot builders that limit users to pre-approved integrations, Buildship's approach allows agents to call any external service, coordinate with other agents, and execute pre- and post-processing logic.
Enterprise-Ready From Launch
Buildship positioned AI Agents Wave 1 as production-ready for businesses with strict compliance requirements. The platform ships with SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO compliance built in, along with role-based access control and regional deployment options. Teams get version control, evaluation tools, and observability features typically reserved for dedicated DevOps infrastructure.
The architecture supports bidirectional triggers between workflows and agents. A workflow can invoke an agent to handle a specific task, and agents can trigger workflows in response to events or decisions. This composability extends to agent-to-agent delegation, where specialized agents handle different parts of a larger process, such as routing a support request to a billing agent or escalation specialist.
Developers retain full code access throughout the build process. The platform does not lock users into a proprietary runtime or opinionated framework. Teams can select any language model, modify execution logic, and deploy to their preferred infrastructure. As previously reported, Buildship recently added GitHub integration for version control and CI/CD pipelines, a capability that now extends to AI agent projects on the Enterprise plan.

Knowledge Base Integration and Deployment Flexibility
One-click knowledge base creation turns documents or websites into indexed resources that agents can query during execution. This allows businesses to ground agent responses in proprietary data without manual preprocessing or complex vector database setup.
Deployment options span chat widgets, voice calls, and messaging platforms including Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord. Teams can ship agents to production with a single click or share a remix link that lets others fork and modify the workflow. This supports both centralized deployment by engineering teams and decentralized experimentation by business users.
Buildship is offering early access walkthroughs to the first 50 users who request access via LinkedIn. The platform integrates with automation tools like Make, Zapier, and n8n for users who want to combine agent logic with existing workflow automation.
