Build a working AI-powered mobile app prototype in one evening at this beginner-friendly, in-person hackathon in Leicester. Hosted by The Build Room at Canopy on Wednesday 18 November 2026, 18:00–21:30, the event gives participants complimentary Pro-level access to Bilt’s AI mobile app-building platform. No development experience, existing idea or previous hackathon experience is required, just bring a laptop and charger, plus a willingness to experiment. Choose between two challenge tracks: - Open Build: Create any mobile app you like. - Startup Challenge: Build an MVP addressing a real problem from Leicester’s startup community. You can attend solo or form a team of up to four, although advance team formation is recommended. Approved attendees can join an optional WhatsApp group to meet collaborators, while newcomers can attend a pre-event online session covering Bilt, account setup and the hackathon format. Building begins at 18:30, submissions close at 20:15, and selected finalists will demo their apps from 20:45. Judges will assess practical value, creativity and execution before announcing the winners. Food and refreshments are sponsored by H2K Solutions Ltd. Entry is free, but places are limited and registration requires approval. Register for the hackathon.
