Vercel Compliance documents Arrive in Team Settings for Faster Reviews

Vercel is bringing security paperwork closer to the teams that need it. A new Compliance section in Team settings lets Pro and Enterprise customers preview and download Vercel’s attestations, policies, and related trust documents without first navigating the company’s separate Trust Center.

The change, announced in Vercel’s changelog on August 19, 2026, addresses a mundane but persistent part of software procurement. When a customer, auditor, or security team asks for evidence such as a SOC 2 Type 2 report, account administrators can now retrieve it from the same dashboard used to manage their Vercel team.

This is not described as a repository for customers to upload their own certifications. Instead, it provides dashboard access to Vercel’s compliance materials, including documents already available through its Trust Center.

Downloads Designed for Security Reviews

The new section supports several ways to assemble a compliance package. A team member can select one document, download every file associated with an attestation, or combine multiple selected documents into a single zip archive.

That bulk-download option should be useful during vendor assessments, when reviewers often request several related files at once. Rather than collecting policies and reports individually, an administrator can create one archive for the review. Vercel says the available materials include:

  • Attestations such as SOC 2 Type 2
  • Security policies
  • Other security and trust documents
  • Links to relevant third-party resources, where applicable

Not every entry is necessarily a downloadable file. Some records direct users to external sources, such as an auditor’s public certificate directory, which helps keep independently maintained evidence connected to the review process.

Every document preview and download is watermarked with the user’s information and the relevant team information. That makes distributed copies attributable, a common control for sensitive compliance reports that may contain detailed descriptions of a provider’s security systems. Teams sharing the documents with customers or auditors should therefore expect the recipient to see who accessed the material and from which Vercel team.

Why Dashboard Access Matters

Compliance work often crosses several roles. A founder may receive the initial request, an engineer may own the Vercel account, and an external consultant may be completing the security questionnaire. Putting the source documents in Team settings reduces the need to search for the latest report or pass Trust Center access instructions between those participants.

The update is particularly relevant to smaller software companies moving into larger customer accounts. Enterprise buyers commonly require security evidence before approving a vendor, even when that vendor is itself relying on infrastructure providers. Easier access to Vercel’s documents does not complete that assessment automatically, but it can shorten the evidence-gathering stage and help teams distinguish Vercel’s controls from their own application-level responsibilities.

Vercel’s Trust Center remains available for broader security information, so the dashboard section is an additional access point rather than a replacement. The company also directs customers to its compliance documentation for more detail.

There is one important plan restriction. Compliance documents in Team settings are available to customers on Vercel’s Pro and Enterprise plans. Vercel did not announce separate pricing for the feature or availability for its other plans.
