Tally Forms Adds Collapsible Workspaces and Folders for Better Organization

Tally Forms rolled out a set of workspace and organization features this month that aim to make managing multiple forms easier for teams and power users.

The free form builder announced on LinkedIn that users can now collapse and expand workspaces from the dashboard, a practical addition for anyone juggling multiple projects or client accounts. The feature addresses a common pain point: long, cluttered dashboards that require constant scrolling to find the right form.

Folders Bring Nested Organization to Pro Users

The more significant update is the introduction of folders inside workspaces, available to Pro plan users. Forms can now be organized into folders with up to 10 levels of nesting, accessible directly from the home page or sidebar. Users can move forms between folders using a picker interface, and rename or delete folders as needed.

This builds on Tally's recent focus on usability improvements, which have included a searchable font picker and formula editor for calculated fields. The folder system is particularly relevant for agencies or teams managing dozens of forms across different campaigns, departments, or client accounts.

Previously, all forms within a workspace appeared in a flat list. The new hierarchy lets users structure their work more intentionally, whether organizing by project phase, form type, or client.

Attio Integration Adds CRM Automation

Tally also launched a native integration with Attio, a CRM platform. Form submissions now flow directly into Attio as typed outputs, ready to create records, update contacts, or trigger workflows.

The integration complements Tally's existing automation options. The platform already supports PDF exports through Zapier and Make, and recently added the ability to attach submission PDFs to email notifications. Attio gives users another option for routing form data without middleware, particularly useful for teams already using Attio for relationship management.

The CRM connection reflects a broader trend among form builders. Competitors like Typeform and Jotform have long offered direct integrations with sales and marketing platforms, recognizing that forms often serve as the first step in a longer customer journey.

Tally's updates this month focus less on flashy features and more on the practical work of managing forms at scale. For Pro users handling multiple workspaces or client accounts, the combination of collapsible workspaces and nested folders should make navigation faster. The Attio integration extends that efficiency into downstream workflows, letting submissions move automatically into the tools teams already use for follow-up and relationship tracking.
