Chatbase x PostHog: Innovation Night

Toronto

Hosted by Chatbase

Chatbase x PostHog: Innovation Night brings AI founders, product builders and CX innovators together in Toronto for rapid demos, practical feedback and networking. Taking place on Tuesday 15 September 2026, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm EDT, this in-person showcase gives people working on customer experience technology a place to share what they are building, learn from other makers and discuss ideas with a relevant community. The event will be held at 35 McCaul Street, Toronto, ON M5T 1V7. Show what you’re building The centrepiece of the evening is a series of concise five-minute demo slots. Attendees can apply to present a product, prototype or experiment, whether it is: - A technical build - An AI-powered product or solution - A customer experience innovation currently being tested - An early experiment that would benefit from real-world feedback The short format should keep the demonstrations focused while creating space for multiple builders to take the floor. It is an opportunity to explain what you have made, see how others respond and gather direct feedback from people interested in moving customer experience forward. You do not need to demo to take part. Attendees who prefer to watch can discover new projects, exchange perspectives with founders and builders, and talk through the practical challenges behind developing AI and CX products. Expect a community-led evening built around demonstrations and conversations rather than a traditional conference programme. Who it’s for Innovation Night is designed for founders, builders and CX innovators who are actively creating, testing or exploring new products. It should be particularly relevant if you want to put an early prototype in front of peers, find out what other teams are experimenting with, or meet people working at the intersection of AI, software and customer experience. Both presenters and spectators are encouraged to arrive ready to “talk shop”. The event is presented by Chatbase and hosted by Sia Karpenko and PostHog. New York

Hosted by Merge Events

Explore how self-driving AI products observe, act and improve in production at technical talks from Merge, PostHog and Redis in New York on 27 August. Taking place from 6:00–8:00pm EDT on Thursday, 27 August 2026, this practical evening brings together three infrastructure companies to examine what it takes to run dependable AI features beyond the prototype stage. Expect technical explanations and live demos covering the systems that help autonomous products make decisions, access current information and learn from production behaviour. What the talks will cover The programme focuses on the core building blocks behind fast, reliable AI products: - Model routing and connections between agents, models, tools and business systems - AI observability, including tracing model calls, evaluating outputs and identifying production issues - Real-time context and persistent memory for agents - Vector search and semantic caching at production scale - Infrastructure that allows AI products to observe, act and improve Merge will discuss its role as a connectivity layer for AI, helping teams connect products and agents without building every integration from scratch. PostHog will explore how product analytics and AI observability can reveal what models and AI features are doing in production. Redis will bring its perspective on in-memory data, search, fresh context and persistent agent memory. Talks, demos and a community showcase After food and informal networking, the evening moves through three 20-minute technical talk and Q&A sessions: Merge at 6:20pm, PostHog at 6:40pm and Redis at 7:00pm. At 7:20pm, four community presenters will each receive five minutes to demonstrate a working product or prototype and explain how it works. Builders with something relevant to the self-driving product theme can apply for the community showcase. The event is particularly relevant to AI engineers, product developers, agent builders and technical founders interested in production AI, automation and real-time infrastructure. It combines implementation-focused content with Q&A and networking, making it a useful opportunity to compare approaches and meet others building AI products across New York.… Register for this event

New York · Flatiron

Explore model routing, AI observability and production-ready agents at Merge and PostHog’s technical talks in Flatiron, New York, on 27 August 2026. The practical side of building AI products Merge and PostHog are co-hosting an in-person evening focused on what they call the “unglamorous half” of AI products: the technical foundations that need to work reliably once an AI system moves beyond a prototype. Taking place in Flatiron, New York, the event will examine three connected areas: - Model routing , the decisions and infrastructure involved in directing work between AI models. - AI observability , understanding what an AI product or agent is doing once it is running, rather than treating its behaviour as a black box. - Production data and agent readiness , what must be in place before an autonomous agent is allowed to act on real production data. The emphasis is not on polished AI demos or broad predictions about the future. Instead, these technical talks address the operational questions that emerge when teams try to build dependable AI products: how systems choose models, how their behaviour can be observed, and how builders decide whether an agent is ready to interact with sensitive, live workflows. Who should attend? This evening is particularly relevant to software engineers, AI engineers, product engineers, technical founders and product teams working on agents or AI-enabled applications. It should also be useful for builders moving from experimentation towards deployment who want to think more carefully about reliability, visibility and production safeguards. No formal experience level or prerequisites have been published. However, the technical framing makes the event best suited to attendees who already build software or have a working interest in AI product infrastructure. Individual speakers and a detailed running order have not yet been listed on the source page. Event format and timing… Register for this event
