Granola API for enterprise gives IT teams programmatic access to meeting notes, transcripts and audit events. It adds workspace controls for compliance archives, usage reporting and internal audits.
According to the Granola blog post, the API can retrieve meeting notes and AI summaries as plain text or markdown. It also covers full transcripts with speaker labels and timestamps, attendee and calendar details, folders, and links back to notes in the Granola web app.
Webhooks can notify connected systems when a note is generated, edited or shared. This lets teams move meeting records into an internal archive or start another workflow when Granola creates or changes a note.
Granola API for enterprise adds compliance controls
The standard API and webhooks are available on Business and Enterprise plans. Enterprise adds the Audit API, workspace usage analytics, Legal Holds and admin controls for the API, MCP and integrations.
The Audit API provides a workspace activity log showing who did what. Usage analytics lets administrators track adoption across the workspace. Legal Holds prevents Granola from permanently deleting covered notes, supporting regulatory or internal retention workflows.
Granola positions the API for three recurring jobs: measuring how teams use the product, creating archives that remain available after staff changes, and giving IT teams a record of workspace activity. It follows the addition of Granola Team Folders Turn Meeting Notes Into Shared Libraries, which organised shared notes inside the workspace.
| Plan | Price | API and webhooks | Enterprise controls |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $0 | No | No |
| Business | $14 per user per month | Yes | No |
| Enterprise | $35 per user per month | Yes | Audit API, usage analytics, Legal Holds and admin controls |
Any workspace member on Business or Enterprise can create an API key. Enterprise administrators can control access to MCP, the API and integrations.
Access is also limited by scope. The personal scope covers notes owned by or shared directly with the person using the key. The public scope covers notes visible to everyone in the workspace, including notes placed in a folder inside the Team space. Notes are private by default and do not enter the public scope until they are stored in a folder everyone can see.
