Dribbble Rolls Out Framer Expert Verification for Designers

Dribbble has launched expert verification for Framer designers, allowing verified Framer Experts to display their official status directly on the design portfolio platform. The integration connects Framer's expert dashboard with Dribbble profiles, creating a searchable directory of credentialed Framer designers.

The feature addresses growing demand for Framer expertise as more businesses adopt the design and prototyping tool. Verified experts can now link their Dribbble profile through their Framer Expert dashboard, which adds an official badge to their Dribbble presence and makes them discoverable through a dedicated Framer Experts search page on the platform.

How Verification Works

The process is straightforward for existing Framer Experts. Designers log into their Framer Expert dashboard and connect their Dribbble profile. Once linked, their verified status appears on Dribbble, signaling to potential clients that they've met Framer's certification standards.

For designers not yet in the Framer Expert program, Framer maintains an application process. The program evaluates designers on their Framer proficiency, portfolio quality, and ability to deliver client projects from concept through launch.

This marks Dribbble's second major Framer-related initiative in recent weeks. The platform previously announced a 30% discount exclusively for Dribbble-recognized Framer Experts, positioning verified status as both a credibility marker and a financial benefit.

Why It Matters

The verification system solves a real problem for clients shopping for Framer talent. As the no-code design tool has grown in popularity, so has the number of designers claiming Framer expertise. Official verification helps clients identify designers who've been vetted by Framer itself, reducing the risk of hiring someone who overstates their capabilities.

For designers, the badge provides competitive differentiation. Dribbble hosts millions of design portfolios; standing out requires more than good work. A verification badge signals specialized expertise and can influence hiring decisions, particularly for businesses specifically seeking Framer skills.

The integration also benefits Dribbble's positioning in the freelance marketplace. The platform has been expanding beyond portfolio hosting into matchmaking services, recently introducing Outbound Proposals to let service providers connect with clients directly. Adding verified expert directories makes Dribbble a more useful search tool for buyers, not just a showcase for designers.

Framer's focus on expert verification follows similar moves by other design and development platforms. As no-code tools mature, platform operators increasingly curate expert networks to help users find qualified implementers. The approach benefits the platform (higher quality outcomes lead to continued adoption), the experts (easier client acquisition), and the clients (reduced hiring risk).

Designers interested in applying for Framer Expert status can do so through Framer's application portal. Current experts can connect their Dribbble profile immediately through their dashboard.
