Autonomous SG 2026

Singapore · Singapore

Hosted by Aanya Mathur

Autonomous SG 2026 is a six-hour AI buildathon for 300+ builders in Singapore, taking place on Saturday, 31 October 2026. Supported by Anthropic, the event challenges participants to build and ship a production-grade AI prototype within six hours. Problem statements will only be revealed on the day, so teams should arrive ready to build rather than prepare a solution in advance. The top five teams will pitch their work live on stage. Who can take part? The buildathon is open to undergraduates, master’s and PhD students, researchers, engineers and working professionals. You can participate solo or in a team of up to four. One person should register for the whole team and request the corresponding number of tickets. Each participant receives: - $50 in Claude API credits - Lunch - Event swag - Access to a community of more than 300 builders Create a free Claude Console account before the event. Credits apply to the Console organisation and are not Claude.ai Pro or Max subscriptions. The event runs 9:00am–6:00pm GMT+8. The exact Singapore venue is shared after registration. Host approval is required, so requesting a place does not guarantee admission. Questions can be directed to Aanya Mathur on LinkedIn. Request to join Autonomous SG 2026

AI Innovation Asia

Singapore · Grand Hyatt Singapore

Hosted by Economist Enterprise

AI Innovation Asia brings senior business and government leaders to Singapore on 26 November 2026 to turn AI investment into measurable business value. Closing the AI value gap Held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, this third annual conference from Economist Enterprise focuses on one of the most urgent questions facing organisations: why do some companies generate tangible returns from AI while others spend millions without moving beyond experimentation? The programme moves past hype to examine how leading organisations are implementing AI in practice. Through independent, editorial-led discussions, executive panels and real-world case studies, attendees will explore what it takes to convert investment into operational improvements, growth and durable competitive advantage. Key themes include: - Moving successful AI pilots into organisation-wide deployment - Measuring business value and tangible return on investment - Redesigning organisations, workflows and decision-making for AI - Avoiding costly implementation failures - Identifying where chief executives are directing their AI budgets for 2027 - Learning from organisations already putting AI to work across Asian markets Hear from leaders making AI pay The announced line-up combines editorial perspective with senior operational and technology experience. Tom Standage, deputy editor of The Economist and editor of The World Ahead, brings a long-standing focus on technology’s business, cultural and historical significance. He is joined by Binu Jacob, chairman and chief executive of Nestlé Vietnam, whose career spans almost three decades of FMCG leadership across Asia, Europe and the US. Other featured leaders include Rahil Ansari, chairman and chief executive of Volkswagen Group Taiwan, drawing on more than two decades in the automotive industry, and Simon See, chief solution architect and global head of the NVIDIA AI Technology Centre and AI Nation at NVIDIA. Singapore · EHL Campus (Singapore)

Hosted by Mindstone

Practical AI demos, product-building lessons and future-focused talks come to Singapore on 18 August 2026, followed by pizza, drinks and networking. Mindstone’s monthly AI meetup brings its global PracticalAI community to EHL Campus Singapore, 3 Lady Hill Road, from 7:00pm SST on Tuesday 18 August. The evening is designed to move beyond AI hype, combining real-world demonstrations and actionable workflows with a broader examination of how artificial intelligence could reshape work, society and value creation. What’s on the programme The programme spans technical, practical and strategic perspectives: - The Missing 20%: What Claude Code and Codex Won’t Build for You , Erik Ingvoldstad presents a technical demonstration of building a product with AI, sharing real-life lessons and highlighting the important work that coding agents do not complete for you. - How to Get Real and Tangible Results from AI , executive and entrepreneur Gregor Preidl uses examples from life and work to provide a practical, step-by-step guide to completing tasks faster and improving their output with AI. - What Does the Future Look Like With AI? , a theoretical session exploring AI’s potential impact on work, everyday life and society. - Abundance in an Era of Penury , Zia Zaman examines energy, workforce transitions and the changing nature of value in the AI era. The session on Claude Code and Codex should be particularly relevant to developers, product builders and anyone experimenting with AI-assisted software creation. The wider programme also speaks to founders, executives, entrepreneurs and AI-curious professionals looking for useful applications rather than abstract claims. No formal experience requirement is stated, and the mix of demonstrations and big-picture discussion gives both hands-on practitioners and newcomers a route into the conversation. Format and community Expect a talk-led evening with opportunities to see AI projects and practical processes up close. Once the presentations finish, the meetup shifts into informal networking over pizza and drinks, creating space to compare workflows, discuss the sessions and meet other people exploring AI in Singapore.… Register for this event
