About this event

What to expect

Learn how to use AI to design clearer, more accessible Power BI dashboards at this online session on 27 October 2026 at 6:00pm.

Marjolein Opsteegh will demonstrate practical ways to combine AI assistance with human judgement throughout the dashboard design process. Rather than concentrating on faster DAX writing or visual creation, the session explores how to build reports that people can understand, interpret and use to make decisions.

Using real-world examples, Marjolein will cover:

  • Using AI to improve report structure, navigation and usability
  • Generating ideas and challenging your design decisions
  • Strengthening dashboard storytelling and accessibility
  • Recognising mistakes that AI can identify, or introduce
  • Understanding why dashboard literacy matters as much as development
  • Finding the right balance between automation and human expertise

The session is suitable both for people who already use AI regularly and those just beginning to explore it. Marjolein is a Power BI consultant, trainer and speaker whose work combines technical expertise with a strong focus on user experience, usability and dashboard literacy.

Hosted by Sue B. for the Devon and Cornwall Microsoft Power BI User Group, this is an online event. The meeting link will only be visible to attendees, who can also access the event chat before the session begins. The source listing does not specify a timezone.
