About this event

What to expect

Build the OpenClaw skills that should exist but don't. This full-day hack sprint in San Francisco challenges developers to create and publish working AI agent skills to ClawHub by demo time. OpenClaw has exploded to 160K+ GitHub stars as the leading framework for local AI agents, with a skill system that lets you wrap any API into an agent capability in minutes—but the ecosystem is still young, and thousands of useful integrations don't exist yet.

What You'll Build

Choose any API or service you want to integrate with OpenClaw and ship a production-ready skill that the 160K+ user community can actually install and use. Your skill could integrate productivity tools like Notion or Airtable, dev platforms like Vercel, specialized data sources, creative services, or anything that would make AI agents more powerful. The constraint is clear: by 7:00 PM, you must have a working skill published to ClawHub.

Why Attend

For builders: Ship something real with your name on it in the fastest-growing agent ecosystem. Gain hands-on experience with OpenClaw's architecture and sponsor APIs, while working on integrations you genuinely think should exist. This isn't about demos or proofs-of-concept—it's about production-ready skills that ship.

For the ecosystem: Contribute real, usable integrations that expand OpenClaw's capabilities. Your work will directly benefit the 160K+ developers building with the framework.

For sponsors: Five companies (Contextual, Redis, Civic, Apify, and Friendli) will provide API access and 3-minute technical intros, giving you direct access to powerful tools you might not otherwise explore.

Event Philosophy

This is deep work and thoughtful experimentation—not prompt-chasing or idea juggling. Pick one integration, understand the API, build something that works, and ship it. You'll have over 5 hours of uninterrupted build time (78% of the day), with optional sync points at lunch and mid-afternoon if you need to get unstuck or share progress. Work solo or collaborate—your choice.

The event includes breakfast, grab-and-go lunch, snacks, and dinner to minimize disruption. You'll have access to OpenClaw skills development documentation, ClawHub publishing credentials, and OpenAI Codex credits through the HackerSquad Cloud IDE (provided via OpenAI's Codex Ambassador program).
