What to expect

What to Expect

Designed for developers and platform teams navigating the challenging transition from AI prototypes to production systems, this technical meetup examines why most AI workflows fail to scale and what actually works in real-world deployments. While experiments and POCs may show promise, production environments demand robust workflows, governance, and trust mechanisms that many teams struggle to implement.

Featured Tech Talk

From AI Experiments to Production: How Teams Actually Scale AI Workflows will be presented by Rob Whiteley from Coder. This deep-dive session addresses the critical pain points facing development teams: experiments that work locally but break in production, AI-generated code that accelerates development but disrupts established workflows, autonomous agents that produce output teams can't trust or scale, and governance frameworks added too late that throttle velocity.

The talk focuses on redesigning development workflows to work harmoniously with AI rather than simply layering new tools onto existing processes. You'll explore practical approaches to structuring workflows, managing autonomous agents, and introducing appropriate controls that maintain developer productivity. This isn't a tool comparison or hype session — it's a technical examination of production realities backed by real-world implementation experiences.

Event Format

The evening begins with registration and networking over food (5:30-6:00pm), followed by community updates and welcomes (6:00-6:15pm). The main tech talk and Q&A session runs from 6:15-7:30pm, providing ample time for deep technical discussion. The event concludes with an open discussion and networking mixer (7:30-8:30pm), giving you extended opportunities to connect with speakers and fellow developers tackling similar challenges.

Who Should Attend

This showcase is built for technical audiences — developers, ML engineers, platform engineers, DevOps professionals, and engineering leaders responsible for moving AI capabilities from experimentation to production. Whether you're struggling with agent reliability, workflow redesign, governance implementation, or production scaling challenges, you'll find actionable insights and peer connections.

Community & Networking

Co-hosted by AICamp and Workato, this series brings together two major developer communities for high-impact technical networking. AICamp's global community of 500,000+ AI developers combines with Workato's en
