What to expect

OpenClaw KL returns for its third event with a new partnership: Codex Community MY. This isn't another intro session—it's the launch of a monthly builder roundup format designed for developers, founders, and AI builders who want to stay current with the AI agent ecosystem by actually shipping, not just spectating.

Scheduled for Monday, 25 May 2026 from 7:00–9:00 PM in Kuala Lumpur, this marks a strategic evolution in the meetup series. While the first two events focused on foundational skills—getting teams set up with OpenClaw Skills, CLI, and MCP integration—Event #3 shifts into a recurring monthly cadence that balances landscape updates with hands-on building.

What's on the agenda

The evening opens with the OpenClaw Monthly Bulletin, a curated roundup of what actually changed in the AI agent space over the past month. Expect insight into new tools worth exploring, significant product releases, and what builders in the community are actively shipping. This isn't industry news fluff—it's tactical intelligence for people building agents in production.

Next up: All About OpenAI Codex. The session features the latest product release plus a live walkthrough demonstrating how Codex integrates with OpenClaw. If you've been curious about bridging these platforms or want to understand the practical integration points, this is where theory meets implementation.

The core of the event is the Guided Build Sprint. You'll choose from five starter builds, work alongside a facilitator, and ship a functional agent before leaving. This isn't aspirational—it's a structured two-hour window where you'll move from concept to working prototype with real-time support. Whether you're extending an existing agent or spinning up something new, you'll leave with deployed code.

The evening closes with networking time to connect with other builders tackling similar challenges, share integration patterns, and discuss what's actually working in production environments.

Who should attend

This meetup targets developers, founders, product operators, and AI builders who need a consistent space to maintain momentum in the fast-moving agent ecosystem. If you're already building with AI agents or planning to start, this monthly format gives you both the context (what changed) and the execution space (build something working) in one session.
