About this event

What to expect

The New York AI Agents Summit brings cutting-edge AI research and real-world deployment together in a landmark two-day conference spanning Manhattan's premier academic venues. This first-of-its-kind Northeast university initiative positions CUNY as a central hub for AI, computational sciences, and computational engineering, bridging the gap between academia, industry, and government.

What to Expect

This premier academic and industry event focuses exclusively on the development and deployment of real-world AI agents across multiple scientific domains. Drawing inspiration from successful initiatives at Berkeley and ASU, the summit creates a unique platform for collaboration between top-tier academic researchers, industry leaders, and government stakeholders.

Day 1: Domain-Specific AI Agents (April 30)

Hosted at The City College of New York (CCNY) & ASRC Auditorium, the first day explores cutting-edge applications:

  • AI Agents for Quantum, Photonics and Material Discovery — exploring how AI agents can accelerate breakthroughs in quantum computing and advanced materials
  • AI Agents for Energy Orchestration — addressing energy management, optimization, and sustainable infrastructure challenges
  • AI Agents for Structural Biology and Biochemistry — advancing drug discovery, protein folding, and molecular research
  • Interdisciplinary Real-World Applications — showcasing AI agents solving complex problems across multiple fields

The day includes networking opportunities through a poster session and lab tours, allowing attendees to engage directly with researchers and see AI agent systems in action.

Day 2: Keynotes and Thought Leadership (May 1)

The CUNY Graduate Center's Martin Segal Theater hosts an intensive day of keynote addresses and talks from leading voices in AI research and deployment. This session offers deep dives into the future of AI agents, research methodologies, and commercial applications. A second poster session provides additional opportunities for knowledge exchange.

Note: Day 2 has reached capacity, with new registrants joining a waitlist.

Who Should Attend

This summit is designed for:

  • Academic researchers working on AI, machine learning, and computational sciences
  • Industry professionals developing or deploying AI agent systems
  • Graduate and undergraduate students interested in AI research (student showcase participants receive priority registration)
  • Government stakeholders exploring AI applicat
