What to expect

This one-hour online webinar explains why faster AI-generated code does not automatically mean faster IT delivery, and how leaders can build more reliable estimates.

On 16 September 2026, from 19:00–20:00 UTC (15:00 EDT / 21:00 CEST), Tech Transformation Hub will examine the widening gap between rapid AI-assisted prototyping and the effort required to ship dependable production software. The first draft may appear in minutes, but logical flaws, missing context, integration bugs and refactoring can turn that early speed into misleading timelines and unexpected costs.

What the webinar covers

Traditional sprint maths and story points often fail to capture where work moves when engineers use AI. Rather than treating code generation as the whole delivery process, this session will explore how teams can account for the less visible engineering work that follows it. Topics include:

  • Updating conventional estimation models for AI-driven development
  • Identifying project phases that can take longer with AI-assisted engineering
  • Calculating the hidden financial impact of integration and refactoring
  • Using historical data to anticipate technical debt and more realistic delivery windows
  • Building practical frameworks for budgets and deadlines that hold up in production
  • Understanding the estimation risks AI introduces around production releases

The speakers will also dissect real cases from their pipelines, moving the discussion beyond generic claims about AI productivity and towards the numbers, constraints and trade-offs that shape actual delivery.

Speakers

  • Yuriy Diachenko, CEO at MIF Projects, brings more than 15 years of experience in technical leadership and managing engineering teams through modern technology transitions.
  • Igor Omelianchuk, Tech & R&D Expert and CEO at Corsac Tech, works with production AI solutions across complex platforms.
  • Andrew Lychuk, Fractional CTO and IT Infrastructure Strategist, focuses on mitigating technical debt and guiding architectural change.
