About this event

What to expect

Explore Claude in a practical, women-only tech workshop at Miiro Borneta in Barcelona on 15 August 2026, with coffee, conversation and experimentation.

A hands-on morning with Claude

Designed for women in tech who want to understand what Claude can do in real-world work, this relaxed three-hour session creates space to experiment rather than simply listen. You can attend if you are opening Claude for the first time, already use it regularly, or have a particular project you want to develop further.

The emphasis is on useful exploration: bring your curiosity, questions and, if you have one, a project or challenge you would like to work through. Rather than prescribing a single experience level, the event welcomes both newcomers and more experienced users who want to deepen their practice, exchange ideas and discover practical ways to use AI.

Expect a lively morning combining:

  • Hands-on experimentation with Claude
  • Opportunities to ask questions about your own use cases
  • Time to explore an existing project or test a new idea
  • Informal conversations with other women working in tech
  • Coffee and networking in a friendly, low-pressure setting

The goal is to leave with ideas you can actually apply, not just a broad overview of AI. No specific technical prerequisites are listed, making the workshop suitable for anyone prepared to participate, try things and learn alongside the group.

Hosts and setting

The event is presented by GRID Network, which runs workshops and networking events in Barcelona, and hosted by Fernanda Grace Lins and Mawada Elmahgoub. You can also find Fernanda on Instagram and X.

It takes place on Saturday 15 August 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm GMT+2, at Miiro Borneta, Passeig de Picasso, 26–30, Ciutat Vella, Barcelona. The combination of practical AI exploration, candid conversation and women-focused networking makes this a useful setting for learning without the formality of a conference or lecture.

The event is currently full, but you can request a place on the waitlist and will be notified if additional spots become available. Join the event waitlist.
