What to expect

Build and ship a Web3 MVP on Monad’s high-performance EVM at this free, one-day vibe-coding hackathon in Amsterdam, with $3,000 in prizes.

Taking place at Les Lokaal on Saturday 29 August 2026, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monad Blitz brings together developers, founders and crypto-curious builders for an intensive day of learning, rapid execution, demos and networking. The format has travelled to more than 50 locations worldwide since launching in May 2025, creating a fast-paced environment where participants can experiment while connecting directly with people active in the Monad ecosystem.

Learn, build and ship in one day

The programme starts with a Monad 101 workshop and hands-on mentoring before moving into seven hours of focused building. You can form a team at the event or work independently, then turn your idea into an MVP ready to pitch to the room.

The day includes:

  • Morning workshops introducing Monad and its ecosystem
  • Hands-on support to help you begin building
  • Seven hours of high-speed development
  • Solo and team participation options
  • MVP submissions and live pitches
  • $3,000 USD in prizes
  • Breakfast, lunch and closing networking

Monad is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed for high performance. Its innovations in consensus and execution enable throughput of up to 10,000 transactions per second, giving builders a platform for exploring fast, scalable onchain products.
