What to expect

AI & BigData Online Day 2026 brings 40 speakers and four tracks to Ukraine’s data science community for a one-day online conference on 5 September.

Running bi-annually since 2017, the conference connects an expected 500 participants from around the world with industry professionals working across AI, machine learning, data science, automation and defence technology. Its online, multi-track format lets attendees build a schedule around technical case studies, commercial insights, startup pitches and lessons from real implementations.

Four conference tracks

The programme comprises more than 40 lectures across four tracks:

  • Data Science Solutions & AI Agents , practical data science cases, solutions to industry-wide problems, failures and lessons learned, and approaches for developing both simple and complex DS products.
  • AI Business , startup pitches and competition, selling data science services to US customers, and building data-science-first IT companies.
  • Machine Learning & AI Automation , natural language processing, computer vision and selecting different algorithms for different problems.
  • AI in Miltech , defence requirements and monetisation paths, synthetic data and limited field testing, quality and validation, field reliability, fault tolerance, human-in-the-loop systems, export restrictions and risk management.

Speakers and audience

The published line-up includes Ross Chayka, founder and CEO of Lviv Startup Club / LemBS; Oleksandr Kravchenko, Senior Data Science Engineer at Capgemini Engineering Ukraine; Nataliia Muzyka, founder of EmpowerAI Innovations; Andrii Salata, Principal Data Scientist and Data Architect at Sigma Software; Vladyslav Chekryzhov, Director of Data Science at Autodoc; Oleksii Ivanchenko, Solutions Architect at AWS; Eugene Berko, CEO of DiscovrAI and Director of Technology Practices at Intellias; and Daniel Koshnaryov of Microsoft Corporation.

Content is designed for data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, data analysts and students, alongside product managers, founders, CEOs, CTOs, investors, startups and miltech teams. That breadth makes the day suitable for technical practitioners seeking implementation insight as well as business leaders evaluating how AI can support products, operations or new ventures.
