Hosted by World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology
ICUIC 2026 brings researchers working on AI, ubiquitous computing and smart environments to Bangkok on 23–24 November for two days of scholarly exchange. The International Conference on Ubiquitous Intelligence and Computing (ICUIC) explores how intelligent, connected technology can become embedded in everyday objects, spaces and services. Organised by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology, the conference takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, on 23–24 November 2026. ICUIC is designed for researchers, scientists, scholars, engineers and university or scientific practitioners who want to present research and engage with developments across ubiquitous intelligence and pervasive computing. Its scope extends from underlying networks and distributed systems to context-aware services, wearable devices and city-scale smart environments. Research themes The programme welcomes work spanning several interconnected areas: - Intelligent systems and infrastructure: sensor, ad hoc, mesh and peer-to-peer networks; middleware; intelligent platforms and architectures; agents; swarm systems; knowledge representation; ontologies; and nature-inspired computing. - Smart environments: connected rooms, homes, offices, laboratories, shops, hospitals, campuses and cities, alongside smart vehicles, roads, traffic and transportation. - Objects and devices: RFID, electronic labels and tags, embedded chips, sensors, actuators, biometric devices, MEMS and NEMS, smart appliances, wearable technology, embedded software and smart-object operating systems. - Human and social dimensions: identity and activity recognition, real and cyber-world modelling, adaptive interfaces, social computing, and the security, privacy, safety and legal questions raised by pervasive technology. - Applied services: healthcare, elder and child care, pervasive media, learning, games, entertainment and other intelligent applications.… Register for this event
