Hosted by Paris AI, Machine Learning and Computer Vision Meetup
A two-hour virtual meetup for AI, machine learning and computer vision practitioners, covering agentic RAG, GeoAI and autonomous research agents. Wednesday 11 November 2026, 9:00–11:00 AM PST (17:00–19:00 UTC). The event takes place online, with the access link available to registered participants. It is hosted by the Paris AI, Machine Learning and Computer Vision Meetup. Talks - Agentic RAG: Beyond Retrieve-and-Generate, Balaji Venkatasubramaniyar, Technical Lead at Wisdom Infotech, will evolve a standard RAG chatbot into an agentic, MCP-connected system. Expect query decomposition, corrective retrieval, tool orchestration and a candid look at grounding drift, latency, cost and when simpler RAG still wins. - GeoAI for the Physical World, University of Augsburg researcher Cesar Alvarez will demonstrate UrbanScope Open, a GeoAI urban digital-twin prototype combining Earth observation with 3D buildings, vegetation, temperature, air quality, noise and population data. He will also discuss geospatial foundation-model embeddings and multimodal systems that reason about physical environments. - Can agents get curious?, Srivatsa P of Sigma Computing will present an architecture for agents that autonomously generate hypotheses, select analyses and track evidence. The session closes with a live example of an agent exploring a dataset and deciding what to investigate next. The programme suits technical attendees interested in practical AI-agent architecture, enterprise data, remote sensing, computer vision and evaluation. No specific experience requirement is stated.
