Explore how AI can advance women’s health, and how policy can address equity, governance and trust, at King’s College in Cambridge on 9 November 2026. This in-person, policy-focused event examines digital health technologies ranging from reproductive health tracking apps and diagnostic AI to large-scale health data platforms. Discussions will consider their potential to improve historically under-researched areas such as endometriosis, alongside questions about equitable access, responsible governance and patient trust. Organised by the AI for Women’s Health Interest Group at the Alan Turing Institute and Teesside University, in partnership with King’s E-Lab, the 3.5-hour session aims to create new connections, surface emerging ideas and identify future research priorities. Speakers - Dr Francesca Gaccioli, University of Cambridge researcher in placental pathophysiology, pregnancy complications, biomarkers and diagnostic tools, and co-founder of the FibroidsFREE advocacy initiative. - Clarisa Lordache, founder and president of Romania’s Eu și Endometrioza Association and creator of the patient-focused documentary Endodyssey. - Dr Roser Vento-Tormo, Wellcome Sanger Institute group leader and AITHYRA Global Adjunct Principal Investigator, whose lab combines spatial genomics, AI and gene editing to study reproductive tissues.
