About the conversation Corin Mellor is the son of renowned designer-silversmith David Mellor CBE and cultural historian Fiona MacCarthy OBE. After training as a product designer at Kingston University, he developed a career combining craftsmanship with architectural finesse. He joined his father’s company, David Mellor Design, as a designer-craftsman before becoming Creative Director in 2006 and taking the helm of the family business. The company is also responsible for the distinctive Granola spoon, giving this discussion a direct connection between its host and guest.
