Hosted by Dynamics 365 & Power Platform UK User Groups
Explore practical Power Platform work for nonprofits and the changing role of software architects in the age of AI at this in-person Birmingham meetup. Taking place on Thursday 19 November 2026, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm GMT, the event is hosted by Dynamics 365 & Power Platform UK User Groups at the Wesleyan Building in Birmingham. The venue is a short walk from city-centre train stations, with parking available nearby at B4 Car Park. Talks - Power Platform for Good, Melissa Hale: Hear how Melissa moved from a scientific, non-technical background into development and used Microsoft technology to support Collaboration for Kids. Through storytelling, live demos and practical examples, she will cover an intranet, process automation with Power Automate and SharePoint, stakeholder collaboration and user adoption. - Architecture in the Age of AI, Neil Rowlands and Adrian Cole: Explore what remains for architects, developers and consultants as AI increasingly gathers requirements, designs solutions and writes code. The session argues that implementation is becoming abundant while human judgement grows more valuable. This meetup is suited to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform professionals, architects, developers, consultants, and anyone interested in applying their technical skills to nonprofit work. Arrive early to meet other members; food and refreshments will be provided, with time to chat afterwards. Register for the Birmingham D365PPUG meetup.
