Closed Won Club Chooses Mighty Networks for Growth
Closed Won Club, a sales community that recently surpassed 100 members, is migrating to Mighty Networks to support its next phase of growth. Founder Brian LaManna announced the move on LinkedIn, citing the need for a more premium experience and deeper member engagement as the community scales.
The migration represents a strategic shift for the seller-focused community, which launched in early 2026. LaManna emphasized three key factors driving the decision: a custom branded mobile app, improved member-to-member interaction features, and an overall more premium feel that matches the caliber of members joining.
"CWC deserves its own iOS app. Not a tab buried inside another platform," LaManna wrote, highlighting the importance of a standalone presence for the community.
What the Platform Change Enables
The move to Mighty Networks brings several technical capabilities designed to improve how members connect and engage:
- Custom branded iOS app: Members will access Closed Won Club through a dedicated mobile application rather than a tab or section within a broader platform.
- Member directories: Users can browse and connect with other members directly, making networking more accessible.
- Online status indicators: Members can see who else is active in the community in real-time.
- Discussion-focused architecture: The platform prioritizes conversations between members rather than one-way content consumption.
These features align with Mighty Networks' positioning as a community-first platform. The company has recently integrated with Kit for member communication and introduced AI co-hosting capabilities to help community hosts manage engagement at scale.
Timing and Access
Closed Won Club will reopen for what LaManna calls its last "founders" launch on May 11th, with only 30 spots available. The community is currently accessible only to members on a waitlist, with details being shared directly to that group.
LaManna thanked Mighty Networks executives Kyle Willis and Gina Bianchini for their support in making the transition happen, suggesting the migration involved direct collaboration with the platform's leadership team.
The announcement reflects a broader trend of maturing communities seeking platforms purpose-built for member interaction rather than adapting general-purpose tools. For Closed Won Club, the shift positions the community to scale beyond 100 members while maintaining the engagement quality that drove early growth.
