About this event

What to expect

Take your AI development skills from prototype to production with this intensive hands-on workshop hosted by Google Developer Groups at The George Washington University. Designed for developers ready to move beyond experimentation, this event tackles the critical challenges of deploying reliable, secure, and scalable AI agents in real-world applications.

This workshop shifts focus from "does it work?" to "will it work every time?" You'll learn enterprise-grade approaches to building AI systems that are production-ready from day one. Noble Ackerson from Ventera will guide participants through the architectural decisions, evaluation frameworks, and security measures that separate experimental projects from production deployments.

What You'll Learn

Multi-Agent Orchestration: Design robust AI systems that coordinate multiple agents effectively. Understand patterns for managing agent communication, task delegation, and error handling at scale.

Data-Driven Evaluation: Replace subjective assessments with rigorous, programmatic evaluation methods. Implement adaptive rubrics and tool-use metrics that provide quantifiable reliability indicators. Learn how to establish testing frameworks that catch issues before deployment.

Enterprise Security & Guardrails: Deep dive into protecting AI workloads with production-grade security measures. Explore prompt injection prevention, output validation, access controls, and compliance considerations for deployed AI systems.

Production Architecture Patterns: Build systems designed for reliability, not just functionality. Understand how to architect for failure recovery, monitoring, logging, and continuous improvement in live environments.

Event Format

This is an intensive, hands-on workshop requiring active participation with your own laptop and power cable. Activities cannot be completed on tablets or phones. The session includes expert-led presentations, practical coding exercises, and dedicated time for implementation and questions.

The day features a keynote from a Google Developer Expert on "The Production Mindset," followed by hands-on sessions on orchestration, evaluation, and security. Lunch and a networking hour provide opportunities to connect with fellow developers, GDG organizers, and the speaker.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is designed for developers with existing AI/ML experience who are ready to deploy agents in production env
