About this event

What to expect

Debug real Hugging Face LeRobot datasets in this hands-on online workshop on 19 November 2026, led by Voxel51’s FiftyOne community.

Hosted by the Amsterdam AI Machine Learning and Computer Vision Meetup, the session examines why robot-learning data is difficult to inspect and what can go wrong during import. The workshop page lists the live session as 9:00–10:00am PST; the Meetup event window is 17:00–19:00 UTC. The online link is visible to registered attendees.

What the workshop covers

The session starts with the characteristics that distinguish robotics data from typical vision-language model datasets:

  • Temporal structure and proprioception
  • Action grounding and embodiment heterogeneity
  • Data scarcity and collection cost
  • Hugging Face’s LeRobot dataset format

You’ll then move into live debugging with Voxel51’s native LeRobot support in FiftyOne, exploring a metadata bug that broke multiple imports, sensor streams that disappear without an error, and structurally incompatible data from two robots running the same benchmark.

This workshop is aimed at machine learning, computer vision, robotics and data science practitioners who need to evaluate LeRobot datasets before trusting them. No speaker details have been published.
