About this event

What to expect

GitHub Copilot Dev Days brings AI-assisted coding to Toronto for a 3-hour deep dive into practical workflows and real-world implementation. This community-led event is designed for developers at all levels — whether you're exploring GitHub Copilot for the first time or already integrating it into your daily development work.

What You'll Experience

The event combines technical sessions with hands-on practice, featuring two core presentations followed by an hour-long interactive workshop. Dave Lloyd and Max Yermakhanov will demonstrate GitHub Copilot in practice, showing how AI-assisted coding translates into real development scenarios. Kaan Turgut will then explore "From Copilot to Colleagues: Building an AI DevOps Agent Team," examining how AI tooling extends beyond code completion into broader DevOps automation.

The hands-on workshop gives you direct experience with GitHub Copilot's capabilities. You'll need to bring your own laptop and power cord to participate in the lab portion — this is where theory becomes practice as you experiment with AI-assisted coding techniques in a supported environment.

Who Should Attend

This event targets developers working with Microsoft Azure, DevOps teams exploring automation, and anyone curious about how AI coding assistants are changing software development. Whether you're writing code daily or managing development workflows, you'll gain practical insights into integrating AI assistance into your stack. The format balances knowledge sharing with community networking, creating space to learn from both presenters and fellow attendees.
