What to expect

Learn to design, deploy, and govern AI agents that multiply productivity in this intensive, hands-on workshop at BrainStation's Toronto campus. Led by Obafunto Ayinoluwa, Director of Digital Experience at Avion Rewards (RBC), this three-hour session transforms abstract AI concepts into practical automation workflows you can implement immediately.

What You'll Build

This isn't a lecture—it's a working session. You'll progress from understanding Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI fundamentals to shipping a functional AI agent with proper guardrails. The curriculum emphasizes responsible implementation, helping you identify which repeatable knowledge work deserves automation and how to design reliable flows that handle data, routine tasks, and clear processes without introducing unmanaged risk.

Workshop Structure

The lab unfolds in three stages: Prompt Engineering & AI Foundations covers how modern AI systems think, generate, and adapt, building your confidence with tools like ChatGPT and teaching you to write prompts that extract maximum value. Planning Your Agent Solution addresses solution design—mapping workflows, deciding autonomy levels, and establishing risk mitigation strategies before you write a single line of logic. Finally, Creating Your AI Agent is the hands-on build phase where you construct and test your agent using leading agentic AI platforms.

Obafunto brings enterprise experience designing digital products at RBC, where user trust, security, and seamless experience aren't optional. His approach balances innovation with operational rigor, ensuring the agents you build are production-ready, not just demos.

Who Should Attend

This workshop suits professionals seeking to automate data handling workflows, product managers scoping AI features, and anyone handling repetitive knowledge work who wants to reclaim time for strategic thinking. You'll leave with technical confidence, a working prototype, and frameworks for evaluating future automation opportunities.

BrainStation Toronto (482 Front St W, 2nd Floor) has hosted 80,000+ attendees globally across its professional development events. Expect industry-standard tooling, expert guidance, and a structured environment designed for learning by doing.
