What to expect

A virtual, invitation-only roundtable for senior enterprise leaders exploring how to scale AI while retaining data sovereignty, governance and control.

Taking place Wednesday 2 December 2026, 11:00am–12:30pm GMT, this closed forum from ISMG examines whether today’s data and cloud architectures can support enterprise AI without creating deeper vendor dependency or new operational risks.

The peer-led discussion will consider:

  • Whether current AI and cloud strategies are introducing new forms of operational and vendor dependency
  • How organisations can maintain sovereignty, governance and control across cloud, SaaS and on-premises environments
  • What security and technology leaders must rethink as AI becomes embedded in core business operations
  • How portability and resilience factor into distributed AI environments

Anna Delaney, Director of Productions at ISMG, will guide the conversation, with Charles Aad, Field CTO EMEA at Cloudera, also listed for the session. It is designed for senior security, technology and data leaders, particularly those working in regulated or strategically sensitive sectors such as financial services, telecommunications and critical infrastructure.

The format is interactive, peer-driven and pitch-free, with Chatham House Rule applying. Virtual attendees are expected to participate and join by video.

Attendance is limited and invitation-only. Every request will be reviewed based on professional qualifications and capacity; submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
