What to expect

Empire AI Singapore opens its doors for a full-day Open House on 19 April 2026 at the River Valley campus, offering families with children aged 4-16 the chance to experience hands-on AI, coding, and robotics classes. This free event provides real trial sessions—not demonstrations—where children learn by doing while parents consult with MOE-registered trainers about learning pathways, DSA preparation, and age-appropriate tech education.

Designed for children across every developmental stage, the Open House features multiple session tracks throughout the day. Younger children (ages 4-6) can explore ScratchJr for storytelling-based coding and LEGO SPIKE Essentials for hands-on robotics that develops logic and problem-solving skills. Primary school students (ages 7-12) can try beginner-friendly AI-assisted coding, image recognition projects with PictoBlox, or participate in the Coding Olympics 2026 challenge format. Older learners (ages 10-16) have access to Vibe Coding for creative project development and Unity Game Development for building real games using professional-grade tools.

Parents often wonder whether their child is too young to start coding, whether gaming interests can translate into genuine skills, or how tech education supports Direct School Admission (DSA) applications. Empire AI's trainers address these questions based on each child's age, personality, and learning style. The centre specialises in building portfolio-ready projects across DSA-relevant domains including Coding & Infocomm, STEAM, and Robotics, with a structured progression from foundational logic to real-world AI and app development.

Two afternoon workshops add value for families. The free Deepfake & Generative AI Literacy session, run in partnership with Bamboo Builders and Grip Connect, teaches parents and children to recognise AI-generated content and understand responsible AI use. The Healthier Digital Well-being workshop ($10 per parent-child pair) uses Solution Focused coaching and MangaChat AI journaling to support emotional awareness and balanced screen-time habits.

As Singapore's first AI-focused enrichment centre for children, Empire AI operates with MOE-registered trainers and curriculum-backed programmes that prioritise genuine skill development over passive screen time. The River Valley campus near UE Square and Robertson Quay provides a central location for families across the city.
