About this event

What to expect

Most AI agent demos look impressive in a Jupyter notebook, but the gap between prototype and production is where the real engineering happens. Authentication, secrets management, IAM policies, container orchestration, observability pipelines — these rarely make it into the initial proof of concept. This hands-on workshop in San Francisco bridges that gap, teaching you to deploy production-grade AI agents using infrastructure-as-code principles with Pulumi and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.

Hosted at the AWS Loft SF, this three-hour evening workshop moves beyond notebook demos into the practical reality of running multi-agent systems in production environments. You'll work with Pulumi to define your entire AI infrastructure as code, learning why this approach matters specifically for agent workloads that need to coordinate tasks, maintain state, and integrate with external systems.

What You'll Build

The workshop takes you from a minimal agent implementation to a fully deployed multi-agent system running on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore. You'll configure agents that coordinate complex tasks, call external tools, execute code safely, and maintain state across interactions — all while managing the infrastructure through declarative code rather than manual console clicks.

Key technical topics covered:

  • Multi-tool and multi-agent architectures on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
  • Infrastructure-as-code patterns for AI agent deployments
  • Authentication flows and secrets management for production agents
  • IAM policy design for agent workloads
  • Observability and monitoring strategies
  • Agent workflow orchestration and state management

Who Should Attend

This workshop is designed for engineers, platform teams, DevOps practitioners, and AI/ML developers ready to move beyond notebook prototypes. Whether you're building on AWS, evaluating Bedrock AgentCore for production use, or bringing infrastructure-as-code discipline to existing AI workloads, you'll find practical patterns you can apply immediately.

Workshop Structure

The evening begins with networking and food at 5:30 PM, followed by a brief introduction to Pulumi. The core hands-on session runs from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM, where Solutions Architect Laci Videmsky from Pulumi guides you through deploying a working multi-agent system. The event concludes with an open discussion and networking mixer.

Prerequisites:
