Hosted by Laura W. and the Umbraco Kent Meetup, this evening offers a practical way to catch up on the latest Umbraco news, exchange ideas with other users and meet people building websites and digital products with the friendly CMS. Attend in person at Dragon Coworking or take part online, the virtual link will be made available to registered attendees. What to expect The programme combines technical discussion, community conversation and informal networking. This month’s plans include: - A talk from Richard Howell, subject to confirmation - A community discussion about key takeaways from the Umbraco UK Conference held the previous week - The latest news and developments from across the Umbraco ecosystem - One or more talks alongside time for questions and shared experiences - Food, drinks and friendly socialising with the Kent Umbraco community The meetup is relevant to Umbraco novices, experienced developers and everyone in between. You do not need to hold a particular role: developers, designers, agency teams and other people interested in Umbraco, C, .NET, open-source technology and software development are all welcome. The emphasis is on learning from one another and building connections with people from Kent and surrounding areas. Hybrid format and venue The event runs from 7pm to 9pm BST on Monday 19 October. In-person attendees should head to Dragon Coworking, 7–8 New Road Avenue, St George’s Hotel, Rochester, ME4 6BB. The venue is a short walk from Chatham railway station and provides free on-site parking. Drivers should access the car park from Gundulph Road, Rochester, ME4 4ED, then use the steps between the buildings to reach the entrance. On-road parking may be available if the car park is full, but restrictions should be checked. On arrival, report to St George’s Hotel reception and an organiser will collect you. For attendees joining remotely, the event’s online access link is visible after registering. The Meetup event chat also provides a place to connect with other participants before the session begins.
