About this event

What to expect

Automation enthusiasts in Zürich, get ready to roll up your sleeves and build something real. The third n8n Community Meetup is transforming from casual networking into a hands-on mini-hackathon where you'll work in teams to construct the n8n Claw Bot — a real workflow automation project with tangible results by the end of the evening.

What Makes This Different

After nearly 40 attendees packed the last meetup, the community organizers decided to level up. This isn't another talk-and-slides session. You'll be actively coding, configuring workflows, and collaborating with fellow automation builders. Teams will be balanced to mix experience levels, ensuring both n8n veterans and first-time users can contribute meaningfully and learn from each other.

The Claw Bot project repository is already live on GitHub if you want to preview what you'll be building, though the team will attempt to get everyone set up together on-site. A virtual surprise guest (identity under wraps) will also join to add some extra expertise and inspiration to the evening.

Who Should Attend

  • n8n power users looking to tackle a real-world automation challenge alongside peers
  • Workflow automation beginners curious about building without traditional coding
  • No-code/low-code builders exploring n8n as an alternative to Zapier or Make
  • Product builders and makers wanting to integrate automation into their projects
  • Swiss tech community members eager to connect with the growing automation scene in Zürich

What You'll Need

Bring your laptop — this is non-negotiable for the hackathon format. Curiosity and willingness to collaborate are your other essentials. If you're already working on an n8n project, consider bringing it along for the post-event discussion and feedback session.

Event Details

The meetup takes place at Office LAB Baslerpark in central Zürich, a collaborative workspace that's become a hub for the city's builder community. Entry is completely free, but you must RSVP via Luma to secure your spot (spaces are limited based on venue capacity). Hosted by Robert Schröder, n8n Ambassador for Switzerland, alongside the official n8n team.

Whether you're debugging workflows daily or you've only heard about n8n in passing, this is your chance to build something functional, meet fellow automation enthusiasts, and see what's possible when you combine creativity with the right tool
