Hosted by Aanya Mathur
Autonomous SG 2026 is a six-hour AI buildathon for 300+ builders in Singapore, taking place on Saturday, 31 October 2026. Supported by Anthropic, the event challenges participants to build and ship a production-grade AI prototype within six hours. Problem statements will only be revealed on the day, so teams should arrive ready to build rather than prepare a solution in advance. The top five teams will pitch their work live on stage. Who can take part? The buildathon is open to undergraduates, master’s and PhD students, researchers, engineers and working professionals. You can participate solo or in a team of up to four. One person should register for the whole team and request the corresponding number of tickets. Each participant receives: - $50 in Claude API credits - Lunch - Event swag - Access to a community of more than 300 builders Create a free Claude Console account before the event. Credits apply to the Console organisation and are not Claude.ai Pro or Max subscriptions. The event runs 9:00am–6:00pm GMT+8. The exact Singapore venue is shared after registration. Host approval is required, so requesting a place does not guarantee admission. Questions can be directed to Aanya Mathur on LinkedIn. Request to join Autonomous SG 2026

⌖ Chiang Mai · Hideaway
Hosted by Chiang Mai Professionals, Expats, and Digital Nomads
Explore Gemini 4 Argon and agentic AI through live workflow stress tests, technical discussion and builder networking in Chiang Mai. Hosted by Chiang Mai Professionals, Expats, and Digital Nomads, this practical meetup takes place at Hideaway on Sunday, 8 November 2026, from 11:30am to 2:30pm ICT. The core interactive programme is described as two hours, with time dedicated to meeting the local community. Rather than another introductory prompting workshop, the session examines how frontier AI performs on substantial coding, business and research tasks. Host Steven Dr S. will share lessons from evaluating agentic computer systems and multilingual STEM and business reasoning with Turing, then compare Gemini 4 Argon with Claude, ChatGPT and other models. What to expect - A community mixer for engineers, founders, researchers, agency owners and remote professionals - A technical look at model evaluation, long-context workflows and calibrated uncertainty - Discussion of Argon’s claimed one-million-token context window, hallucination rate and API pricing - A live lab testing two or three audience-submitted workflows with Gemini 4 Argon and Google Antigravity - An open roundtable covering model trade-offs and priorities for a continuing Chiang Mai AI Builders community Bring a difficult coding, business or research problem if you would like it considered for the live stress test. Hosted by Oxford Artificial Intelligence Meetup
See practical AI development workflows in action at this online Oxford AI meetup on 12 November 2026, featuring three demos from active builders. Hosted by Daren T. and Adrian A., What are you building with AI? is a show-and-tell session focused on the tools, processes and lessons behind real projects. Rather than heavy theory or polished corporate presentations, members of the Oxford Artificial Intelligence Meetup will demonstrate what they are currently making, explain what works and share what they are learning when things do not go to plan. What will be demonstrated? The agenda covers three distinct approaches to applying AI in development workflows: - Daren will show how he set up Meetup events using ChatGPT alongside browser control, offering a practical example of using AI to automate an event-management task. - Adrian will present his latest work using local AI to write Flutter code, showing how AI-assisted coding can fit into a software development process without relying entirely on hosted models. - Naweed will demonstrate his AGENTS.md file and, if time and circumstances allow, walk through his full development process. Together, the demos provide a grounded look at AI automation, browser-based workflows, local coding assistants and the project instructions used to guide AI agents. The emphasis is not on abstract predictions about AI, but on seeing how other builders use it day to day. Who is it for? This session is particularly relevant to developers, AI experimenters, automation enthusiasts and anyone exploring how agents or coding tools can support practical work. You do not need to arrive with a finished project or prepare a presentation: attendees are explicitly welcome to watch, listen and learn, with no pressure to share their own work. The event takes place online at 8:00 PM on Thursday 12 November 2026. The attendance link will be visible to registered participants. It forms part of the Oxford group’s recurring second-Thursday meetup series, built around a straightforward question: what are you building with AI? Register for this online event
